mmm just got off the phone with my whole extended family back at home. they are all out at a big sunday brunch celebrating my Opa's 80th birthday! Though I am enjoying it here, I couldnt help but wish I could fly back just for the weekend.
it is true that the older I get, the more I appreciate and grow to love my family. Just like any family, they're not perfect but I feel really blessed to have such great parents, sister, and relatives. Everybody loves each other, gets along really well most of the times, and we always have lots of fun celebrating each person's birthday, holiday, graduation, etc. I have nothing but lots of great childhood memories with them all...putting on shows, playing/watching sports (hockey), summers at the beach /trailer, picnics, bbq's, board games, and the list goes on...
Without bragging too much, I can't help but think that whoever marries me is going to be a lucky guy to be a part of the Munro family!
