I have had a bizarre day.
I found out that Hadley and I missed the cadaver lab field-trip. Apparently, according to Mr. Phillips, we made everyone wait in the rain four 45 minutes. I felt so bad. Argh. We made them a sorry card in English. I hope Ms. Alvarado doesn't hate me now.
In English class, we had this in-class partner test on Oedipus. We weren't supposed to talk, but we couldn't help laughing after drawing these crazy sketches that we put on our test, which I'm sure Ms. Bernstein won't appreciate. Uhh, she was pissed. And she already hates me.
We only have one day left until Thanksgiving break. yay! Tomorrow is the last day that we have to wear our stupid Sacco crowns. I so fucking sick of that project. ARGH.
After school, I went to Mary's funeral. I had never been to a Baptist funeral before. Their was a tiny minister in the front shouting praises to god and an unbelievably loud organist in the back. I can't believe Mary is dead. It is so strange. She just seemed like the type who would live forever. She was such a crazy lady. These people were telling stories about her at the funeral and one of my neighbors told this story that has become famous on our street. Mary used to watch the street when everyone was at work from her little perch at her window and this one time some guy parked under a patch of shade across the street and started eating his lunch. Mary came out and asked him what he was doing here. He said that he was just looking for a patch of shade to eat his lunch, and Mary said "well, I reckon you'd better find a patch of shade on a different street or I'll have to go get my shotgun." AHH! She was so crazy.
It snowed in the mountains. I want to go sledding this weekend.
