Summary: Dean knows this isn’t Sam’s idea of happily ever after, but still, he thinks Sam should be a little grateful. Drabble.

Dean knows this isn’t Sam’s idea of happily ever after, but still, he thinks Sam should be a little grateful.
It took Dean four months to find a cloaking spell for the house so that nobody -- especially those idiot hunters who thought a little demon blood meant Sam was evil -- would find them. Six months to modify the basement.
Almost a year of hard work, total, to make sure Sam’s safe, forever.
A simple “Thanks” would be nice.
“Dean,” Sam says through gritted teeth, hands wrapped around the metal bars of his cell. “Let me out.”
He doesn’t.
