Soo Jealous
My sister has been on a well deserved vacation for the past week and I'm sooo jealous! I want to do the same vacation she did. It doesn't help that she has texted a picture each day with something cool. She flew into Hartford, spent 2 days in Connecticut, and from there hit up Boston, New York and Rhode Island! I got a cool picture of the Freedom Trail, Times Square, and today's picture was of a fireplace - she's back in Hartford and they're roasting chestnuts on an open fire!
She has money to burn, but she had a free ticket, and while in CT is visiting her friend Paul and in NY she has friends from high school, so the only place she had to 'splurge' and get a hotel was in NY. So not only is the trip practically free for her, but she could have afforded to do it anyways. Double jealous!
So we pick her up at noon tomorrow and we're going to lunch and I'm going to check out her pictures. I bet it's going to totally make me want to go. I love cold places. Oh, I was texted a picture of the tree at Rockefellar too.
I have Hawaii to look forward to, and if we can afford it, I will look forward to it, but the places she's checked out, I've never been, so it's like I want to go there even more, if that makes any sense.
