well she was obviously a bitch. I mean, maybe she really did like you but wehy would she ask you to hang out then tell you she's with someone. Some girls really enjoy playing head games. But I don't think you should hold that image against every girl because they all aren't like that. You should take as many chances as you can because the more outgoing you are, the more likely you are to find someone who is sincere. Girls are attracted to confidence.
