So I just lugged up firewood for the next two days in slushy falling snow. Welcome to Australia! It's snowing down to 600m this weekend, and since we're at 870(ish)m, we're probably going to be getting snow and ice on and off all day. It's not really sticking, but it's certainly cold and miserable out there.
Fortunately, the fire was easy to start today with minimum kindling expended, so we've still got enough for the next day or two, hopefully. Otherwise, we're going to have to go out and collect wet stuff and dry it, fireside, which is not happy funtimes.
