Went to Orange on the weekend to go the Farmer's Market and The Agrestic Grocer, a little local and organic shop and restaurant.
Someone's gorgeous, painfully hipster bike out the front. I suspect it belongs to the owners, I think it was there last time we visited. Leather handlebars, seat and saddle pouches and beautiful woven basket on the front.
Our drinks - Emma got a vanilla latte, I got fresh apple juice.
My garden is doing fairly well, given it's completely neglected. A few things are flowering ahead of the hard frosts which are starting.
Daisies, pineapple sage and rosemary.
Rhubarb is healthy; not really big enough to harvest this year, though. This one is sending out a seed head; I think I should probably break it off but I'll have to check what the internet says.
Asian lettuce mix is incredibly happy; we should really eat more stuff with lettuce to captialise on it.
Japanese Maple is finally looking red, it's been a weird muddy browny green for the last month or so because it's been fairly warm for autumn.
