Market Day 2

Apr 20, 2014 16:50

Caught another two mice in one trap last night, bringing the total to eight fewer in my kitchen now.

Slower day today, but I really didn't have much left to sell apart from the shawls, which are too expensive for casual buyers, but I did get a handful of commissions, so that's good. Grand total all up (minus the float) was about $740, give or take some silver. It's a ridiculous amount of money, and if we could afford to blow it we probably would, but instead, it's likely going to go on rent, bills, dog boarding, car maintenance and, of course, buying more yarn. I have virtually nothing left except a handful of kids' hats. The next six months is going to be insanely busy, and I'm trying to just breathe through it, but I have an enormous amount of work to do to clear the commissions and replenish stock in time for October.
