Another pattern giveaway - time sensitive
Anadiomena Designs is having a coupon code give away over the next day, giving you one of their designs for free. This would be a really good designer for you to grab stuff from if you have a young girl in your life to knit for. There are other designs, too, for adults or unisex kids designs, if, like me, you don't really have any little girls that you're knitting for. The pattern sizing on everything seems to be really flexible - the couple of kids designs I looked at closely went from 6 months to 14 years, which is really useful if you want to be able to use the pattern over again for another kid.
Emma ended up getting Capricious, because the project gallery shows it looks good on bigger girls, and I got Magical, because it's a pretty lovely unisex jumper design that I can use for my abundance of nephews.
So, go! Get something for nothing. If jumpers or girl's clothes aren't for you, there are about half a dozen nice hats and at least one lovely cable knit scarf to choose from.
