Mum is coming to visit.
About four days earlier than she was going to.
As in, TODAY.
Not her fault, I must say, up front. She rang me, sounding a bit nervous, last night, full of apology about her plans JUST THEN changing with no warning, and I think if we hadn't been flexible for her shifting it forward, she wouldn't have been able to come.
I mean, having someone in the house is stressful, but mum isn't too bad a guest, really, and she is going to restock our dwindling firewood AND commission more socks from me, so I can't really be a complainer.
So, we stayed up super late last night and cleaned the house. It needed it anyway.
Then, we sat and looked through page after page of Regretsy until 5am. Yeah, we can't really blame mum for that.
