So much to do! Mostly knitting/crochet, but who knew the life of an unemployed girl on disability could be so packed with deadlines?

My to-do list:
* Knit pigtail hat for Sue (in progress)
* Design and knit Alphabet blocks for nephew
* Knit dinosaurs for nephew
* Knit soakers for brother's future spawn
* Knit hoodie for nephew
* Design and knit doll house for nephew
* Crochet blanket for brother's future spawn
* Knit scarf for Emma
* Knit spiral hat for me (in progress)
* Knit sunhat for me
* Knit tea cosy for me
* Knit rainbow blanket for me

And of course, the stuff for brother's future spawn has to be done by August at the latest, and I've already been paid for the yarn for that and for the toys for Luie, so it's not even like I can skive off. The projects for me are REWARDS, which I will be doing parallel to the other things. Rewards, because they're for ME, and I get to keep them.

Plus, I have my first Irlen lens appointment on Saturday. Very nervous. I want the lenses, because I think they'll help, but what if they decide I don't qualify? I can read, I don't have dyslexia. I've just been so photosensitive, and if they can help, then I'm very keen to get them.

Tip of the day: a crochet hook makes the best emergency cable needle ever. Emergency being 'I can't be arsed getting up to find one'. Also, an old wooden bread box that was a friend's school woodwork project makes a fantastic needle storage box. Much better than multiple cloth and plastic bags, which always get holes poked in them.

FYI, my yarn stash covers my entire sofa. Pics to follow, when Emma's camera batteries are charged.
