Yes, I'm here, and alive.
Not been terribly chatty of late, but I am around. I've been writing daily on something that looks like it wants to be a few thousand words long (which is fun, and new!). It's a slightly different style of working which I'm testing out, and it's working so far to get me past the blocks that I've had about writing longer stuff before. It's exciting. Writing longfic is something I've always wanted to do. This little piece isn't anything major, just a Torchwood fix-it, but if it's a stepping stone to writing longer stories, or, heaven forbid, novel length stories, then I'm all for it!

No, I haven't been on YIM or anything. Reason? It crashes things whenever I open it, or just outright refuses to connect for no good reason. I'll have to try a download/reinstall at some point, but I haven't got around to it yet.
Other than that, things are pretty quiet here. I've started playing a bit with the people at ask_twnz, which is a blast. I've never done any form of RPG, and it's like one enormous game of 'let's pretend'. I'm one half of Torchwood Australia (Newcastle Branch). (The other half is a cat.) My vehicle is a Smartcar, which has magnetic stick-on TORCHWOOD labels (because I can't afford my own car), and I sleep in the Archives on a camp bed, occasionally snuggling up to the sub-etheric resonator for warmth. Other organisations borrow things from my Archives and never give them back, which makes me sad, and rather than Shooting Things In The Face, I tend to get them drunk and push them into the harbour.
It amuses me, anyway. :D
