He was just under seven pounds, in the old money, which was a lot lighter than we'd been expecting, given my friend's family history of having huge babies. It's funny that for all that I was raised with metric, I only understand baby measurements in pounds and people measurements in feet and inches.
It doesn't seem real! Can't wait to get the chance to give him cuddles.
