I'm a smidgen under the weather, but not enough to keep from updating or unloading the dishwasher. Aren't you the lucky ones!
First of all, subbing is OVER (cue church choir). I think teaching itself, with a permanent classroom, might not actually be a bad gig, but subbing's completely different. It's all the annoyances of regular teaching, only with no sense of progress and none of the reward. But I did it, I made money, I didn't punch anyone, and now I'm done. I have enough money to pay my last month of bills, and in the meanwhile I can go to the beach a lot and start selling all of my worldly possessions for my move. Who needs a Jetta?
I got 3 gigs of free music I like from Evan last night. I don't even know where to start with it.
Last Saturday my dad offered to make me poached eggs, which I thought was weird because it's literally the first time in my entire life he's ever offered to make me food. But, being fond of a benedict here and there, I said sure. Huge mistake. He put 2 raw eggs in a bowl, microwaved them for 30 seconds, and then watched expectantly as I choked them down. Lesson learned. Approach foods from people you've never seen "cook" before with caution. My tummy wasn't happy with me for the rest of the weekend.
Finally,I realize I've already whored out my facebook to this, but no promotional campaign is complete without the *OFFICIAL LJ PLUG*
