Maryland Deathfest was insane. Packed up the van and stuffed 300 records Thursday night. Got into Baltimore around 3 or 4pm. Arrived to the fest just in time to catch Mayhem, who were kind of underwhelming. It was cool to see Attila (who is awesome live). That was exciting to read. Having people mosh, buy your shit, tell you you're cool, and hear a loud performance is kick ass. We never had shit to sell to people, but I can relate to the rest. I love that you guys are called Weekend Nachos and everyone else is something super brutal/violent/scary or a foreign word for the same.

Did anybody get pics, video, or audio of any of it?

Fuckkkkkkk! Immolations's "close to a world below" was my favorite album when I was like 13 or so... And devourment is so fucking insane. Both of those bands are a culmination of great death metal.

Jealousy.

Yeah they only song I caught off Close... was "Father You're Not a Father", and it made me very happy.

Devourment was fucking great. They were basically a wall of heavy noise and their new drummer is mindblowing. Also the bassist wore a horse mask for most of the set and it was frighteningly real-looking. Awesome.
