Lost faith in Campaign but NOT in cause

I am part of what once USED to be a good fan campaign. Now it has become merely a fan CLUB. And not so much a club where the initial thing we loved is the focus anymore. There's lack of enthusiasm from the members and the mods refuse to even THINK about anyone's ideas but their own and the ones who have been part of the group from the start

I think that things may get back on track, MD seems to have really thrown everyone off kilter a bit, and hopefully we can rally again. Don't give up on the comm yet! I'd personally like to see a 'save the classic Torchwood' effort once MD is cancelled. I miss everyone--Ianto, Owen, Tosh, John Hart, Myfanwy, etc!

I saw the radio plays as a kind of victory and I think I can see more fruits of our efforts in Miracle Day. We may not have Ianto but at least, you can see how death has affected everyone, even Rhys.

I'm not saying we should give up either. I think these little victories prove how powerful everything has worked so far, maybe if we keep going, we could at least get them to do a flash back story/scenes or something.

I'll be honest, I don't really want Ianto back on Torchwood. Yes, I would like to see the character resurrected, but not on the horrible Gwen-centric mess that the show has turned into.

IF it had different writers -- writers who actually RESPECTED the canon relationship between Jack/Ianto, & didn't seem so interested in focusing on Jack being a slut -- I'd like to see Ianto back. But Ianto is FAR too good for the show as it is now.

Though I do think that given the sea of horrible sludge tying to pass itself off as "acting" that the show has turned into, it NEEDS Ianto to make it good again.
