so it's been two weeks in england. it sure doesn't feel like it. so far i've

1. seen exeter cathedral a million times.
2. seen the cathedral library. it has the exeter book of anglo-saxon poetry, which is nearly a thousand years old and is one of the earliest books of english literature. i'm cultured with a capital C, eh?
3. seen a club, a music store with turntable sessions, and a billion street performers.
4. seen an art gallery in bath, and got to taste the spa water again (gum recommended afterwards).
5. seen part of the roman city walls.
6. seen more of the coast, with some red cliffs.

so that's pretty much it. classes are starting up, so i have a bit more reading to do. but i still find time for adventures.

i've been looking back at my past entries. considering the exchange rates and the cost of food here, letting that guy have a slice of pizza for twelve cents seems like a real bargain. that's about six pence (which can be paid in 2-pence coins).

ok i can tell that i'll only get boring from here, so i'll stop. but i'll have more adventures soon.
