A REAL teacher? Me? Couldn't be...or is it?
The Christian school wants to hire me! The woman doing the interview said she got a good vibe with me, and she didn't know why, but she felt God was telling her to give me a chance. She sounded very enthusiastic, said she usually doesn't tell people up front that kind of stuff, but yeah. I guess it was cause I was totally honest about my bad falling out with FSU and such, and really enthusiastic about teaching and God and all that.
...however, she said she needs to OK it with her boss, since I don't have a BS yet. I've got like a 30 page application to fill out tonight, and get that, along with my sub certificate and my transcripts (which I just printed out...she said unofficial was ok) to her tommorow. The money sucks worse than public schools, but it'll be doing something I love while I take night classes to finish my degree here.
Please pray for me on this one, everyone I know, cause I really feel like God's calling me to this one. A full-time bonified teacher. cool, huh? And working for a Christian school, so I'll be helping the faith community and all.

The only other downer is I wouldn't start until August, but I could get an awful filler job until then to deal with things, if I know I've got a real one waiting for me. Either way, I know God'll provide.
