Cuil

Okay, so I'm sure many of you have heard of Cuil, the self-proclaimed Google rival. It's a start-up search engine made by some ex-Googlers. I went to Cuil and I liked the initial page - it's aesthetically pleasing. Then, I entered in my name (with quotes) and yuck! I hate the layout of the answers. It's not at all easy to find what you're looking for, nor is it clear which are the top results. The magazine representation of the answers fails. Then, I tried searching for "restaurants + [my hometown]" NADA. Not a single result. I was puzzled, so I went to Google. On that very same search google returned not 1, not 100, not 1000 but 134,000 results.

I'll believe a Google rival when I can find restaurants in my area (Metro Detroit mind you, so it's not like there wouldn't be anything).
