Ban scowled. Ginji was being... Ginji-ish. Humming quietly as he sat next to Ban in the passenger seat of the car, he was making a small stuffed dinosaur dance to his music. There was no way that Ban was admitting - even to himself - that he had a strange insane urge to kiss Ginji when he was being particularly Ginji-ish. Instead, he told himself grumpily that Ginji was being extremely irritating: worse, extremely irritating in an enclosed space.
"Stop it," he growled, when Ginji showed himself to be apparently impervious to the dark looks Ban had been sending his way.
Ginji and the dinosaur turned to stare at Ban.
"What's the matter?" asked Ginji, wide-eyed.
"You. You dancing that bloody dinosaur."
Ginji looked at the dinosaur and made it look at him. Then he lifted it to his ear and apparently listened seriously to it.
"Dino says he thought you liked the dancing."
"What?"
"Dino says that he thought he saw you nodding your head in time."
"Dino is going to get his head ripped off."
"Ban-chan!"
"Just. Stop dancing it about."
There was a silence. For a split second, as he looked away, Ban felt a trifle guilty. He had, perhaps, been a little harsh. When he looked back, however, it was to see the dinosaur apparently turning somersaults.
"Ginji.....!"
Maybe Ban would have to find a different way to keep him occupied...
