Today was a long day of work on too little sleep. After, I bought a Japanese style BBQ for yakiniku/yakitori that is super small. Charcoal is hard to light! I need one of those things to make it light easier, and tongs, etc. I was unprepared. I also need to buy proper sauces next time. I was grilling on the stoop and my neighbor walked by and we said hello. I took out the trash and he was carrying things, I offered a hand, and we ended up talking. I invited him to eat and he brought over some beers and we ended up talking till 2 AM. He's cool and interesting and co-owns a massage place which I must look into and yelp. I feel like good times are coming; life could get interesting. I have made a friend to do fun things with and talk to. FINALLY. Someone worthwhile (and local).
