And the rest of you are boring
Last night turned out to be really fun after all. Somehow, and I'm still not exactly sure how, a huge crowd ended up at the QP. I ended up getting there about 1/2 hour before Lara (thank goodness she came!) and 45 minutes before anyone else. I was sitting there by myself for awhile drinking my Sex on the Beach and looking like a loser who got stood up for a blind date. So I played with my engagement ring until Lara came in (again, thank goodness).
It was me, JF, Dre, Jaqui, ET, Gen, Will, Steve, Amanda, and Lara. A pretty good turn out, even if I can't take credit for it. It was still my idea to go though. I can take credit for that. Hehe. Tried a few new drinks that were really good. Blue Lagoon was really good, thank you Natalie for the recommendation. Also had a Candy Apple, which was rather tart to start, but not by the end, maybe because it was a double and it dulled my tastebuds. Yummy. I like the QP a lot.
Today has been the most boring day of all. I've been sitting here at my computer since 11am. I was playing the Sims 2 for 6 hours before I realized that maybe I was taking my obsession a little too far. I mean, I know I couldn't play it for a few months while JF was getting around to fixing my video card, but that doesn't really mean I need to spend 6 hours playing it in one day. However, I really want to play it again right now. Either I'm addicted, or really really bored tonight. I think a little of both.
My Sim brothers, the Darin's, who started life in Pleasantville sharing a house, have now both found the girl of their dreams and have gotten married. Grant married the gardener Ericka and Xavier married the mailgirl Dagmar. I moved Xavier and Dagmar to another house to continue their family where they now have two little girls, Diane and Jane. Grant and Ericka have two little boys, Christopher and JP. I spent most of the 6 hours making them have their children, as well as decorating Xavier and Dagmar's new house. The only big problem I had today was that somehow without me noticing Xavier decided to take Dagmar's name when they got married. So now instead of two Darin families, I have a family of Darin's and a family of Bertino's. That's not what I was going for. There is a program I can download to fix that, but I think I'll leave it since they had two girls anyway. All the crazy sim world, what will they pull on me next!
So, I hear them calling to me in their little simmie voices, so that's all my stories for today. I'm obsessed!
