It's bad that I can't remember what I did 2 days ago. Very very bad.
Let me try to remember Wednesday. Well, I probably got up and watched Lifetime, because that's just what I do. Oh, yeah. This was the day that Katherine went to UVA and I went to the eye doctor's. Apparently I'm going blind in my left eye. Sweet? Not really. Apparently the damage might be reversible since I'm still in my teens, so I guess that's the upside to the situation. When I was going to get my new contacts, the lady thought my pupils were dialated, but I had to explain that I just have freakishly large pupils. She laughed at me. She also wouldn't let me put the new contacts in until I got home (even though she had no valid reason), and of course when I got home one of the contact cases had no contact inside. So that was really super.
That night Dionis and I went bowling. Go figure. I actually did really amazingly well and bowled a 112 and beat Dionis. It was quite a shining moment in my life. As we were leaving, Aaron and some girl were coming in, which was funny because we go bowling together all the time. Dionis and I went to Applebee's but told Aaron that we'd call him when we got out and we could go get some icecream at Friendly's. I got the quesadilla burger at Applebee's- whoa. Pretty great. Anyway, so we went to Friendly's and I ate too much and wanted to puke. I think Dionis and I came back home and watched the Yankees BARELY win a game. Woo baseball.
Yesterday I finally got to hang out with Emily. First we went to coinstar which was embarrassing because it's SO LOUD. However, Emily had like $35 in change which is pretty amazing. I don't know how that happens. From there we went to El Paso and had to sit in smoking. We had my secret boyfriend, Hair-Net Guy. I really would like to know his real name because I feel bad calling him hair-net guy, and I think we're at the point in our relationship where I should know his name. I think he knows mine. And he certainly knows my order. Anywho- is was a lovely meal and we ate way too much but it's okay because El Paso is great. Great and cheap.
After eating we went in that pet store across the way because I wanted to see if they had baby bunnies. Alas, they did not. They did have one of those illegal tiny turtles which was SO CUTE, OMG. It "wasn't for sale." It actually probably was but they aren't SUPPOSED to sell it so they have to have a sign saying it's not for sale. I know the tricks. There wasn't anything particularly awesome in the pet store, so we left. I was disappointed. There was some awkwardness with hairnet guy as we were leaving and I feel bad. I'll have to go see him one last time before I leave. I'm actually just really going to miss the white sauce.
For some unknown reason Emily and I went to Bruster's even though we were both really full. I got a milkshake that was really good, but kind of made me want to throw up. [Just because my stomach was already at maximum capacity.] I guess it was still worth it. I went to Emily's because I was going to pee in my pants, and I ended up staying for a while and looking at her pictures and making fun of people. Really really going to miss you, Emily. :( x a lot.
I went home and Katherine and I argued about what movie we wanted to watch. Eventually we decided that we really needed to go out and buy the live-action 1985 version of Alice in Wonderland that recently came out on DVD. I don't know WHY it came out on DVD because I'm pretty sure no one besides my famiy has ever seen it. If you have then that makes you awesome. Anyway, we went to Target, and as we were pulling in I remembered that Patch works at Target. He was there and didn't recognize me? JERK. Well, he didn't at first, but I yelled and then he did. Anyway, so we bought our movie (and were embarrassed), and rushed home to watch it. We only got through the first half, but it's still awesome. I can't wait for Carol Channing. She's my favorite part I think. Alice is pretty annoying and the Jabberwocky doesn't scare me as much anymore. I remember being genuinely frightened by the Jabberwocky. Oh, youth.
Dionis came over last night and he watched baseball and we both fell asleep. I'm going to miss it.
And today... I don't know. I've been watching Lifetime and taking inventory of my college stuff. I move in a week from today. Oh my God I am so scared. :( Guh.
Dinner with Gma and Gdad tonight. That should be nice.
