Aman ki Asha... Well hard to say how this is the glue. Art forms lack this power of healing nowadays. We are all so into playing a dirty game that it is hard to fix things... Though i appreciate music, and "I" see how this builds and fosters greater harmony, its hard for certain people to see through this.
We are connecting two totally different playing fields you see. Politics. Music. That too for a good cause.
Spirituality, Peaceful coexistence and Ahimsa are positive ideas. Juxtapose these with Money. Power. Respect. Violence. Endemic. It is but natural in this world of competition, and hunger for power.
I see this aman and asha and stuff like that, killed in the heart...
It is a Long War my friend. Winning short battles is important.
Hard to say, but yes i'm cynical and I will say this is a lost battle considering what happened to the Pakistani cricketers. It is such dirty political games that will spell the demise of Positive Aman Ki Asha ideals.
But on the positive side, some people will take notice. Small drops of pure water :)
Can it make an ocean that we need? Wait and Watch.
