I looked out my window today and noticed the trees across the street are almost fully yellow now. Farther down into another yard, one tree appears to be almost bare. Behind us, a neighbor's tree is mainly muted red/purple, but there's a blazing red/yellow patch toward the bottom. I know not to expect really bright colors this year, but what I've seen so far isn't too bad, and it reminds me that fall isn't that bad of a season, despite us moving into colder weather. We're supposed to experience a cool down at the end of the week. Considering it got up to 80F on Saturday, well, 50s will be more seasonal. Okay, I suppose not, but it'll be refreshing. Time to pull out the sweaters. Also, mom has mentioned going to the arboretum at some point; I think we should go next weekend in order to see the colors. We'll see.
