The rogue satellite has crashed.
We've been following it all week; my father joked that he'd be spending extra time in the basement while wearing a helmet just in case. What suspense! NASA had no idea where it would crash! Could it be over the ocean, or plummet down over land? I especially loved the NBC News graphics on the likelihood that you'd get hit. It was like 1 in 32 million or something.
But it's over. It crashed into the ocean overnight, though I think they said most pieces burned up upon reentry. Come out of your bomb shelters. The sky has stopped falling.
