I actually left the house today. Sad, but true. I had something to take to the post office--nothing important, just a "take me off your mailing list because I'm on the do-not-mail list and I don't know how you got my info, AmEx, but I seriously don't want your card" deal--and, well, it's been a long time since I took a walk. Funny, because I used to love walking to the post office. I forgot how quickly I can go there and come back, so the walk wasn't long enough to clear my head, but it was nice to go and get some fresh, not-too-cold air. Although, truthfully, it wasn't that fresh; I smelled something odd in the air and ended up seeing some sort of fire in the distance which I figure is a controlled burn, since it's that time of year, as well as a city truck dragging something along behind it that could be involved with, say, repaving of things. Ah. Yes. That would explain the lack of fresh spring scent.
