Sweets for his sweets

There was some sort of festival going on near where dad's friend's farm is, so dad picked up some unusual candy for mom and me to try. One package was of these sour-filled Twizzlers, which I have heard of; they're sticky and squishy, not hard--or rather, firm--like standard Twizzlers. The filling is disconcerting, but they tasted okay. There were two sticks each of cherry and citrus. I did like them, but I also didn't mind sharing. The second candy I hadn't heard of at all--Snickers Fudge. The fudge replaces the caramel. There's still the nougat bottom, and there's still peanuts in the filling, but that sweet, sweet gooey caramel? Not there. The fudge wasn't entirely fudge-like--not as creamy as fudge tends to be--but at least it wasn't a solid block of chocolate, either. I'm glad I tried it, but I'm not a big chocolate person. I'd much rather have the caramel.
