My father had the day off, so he finally hung the new blinds in the master bedroom. I had the joy of cleaning the windows, which weren't so bad, except one was east-facing and this was around eight in the morning. It was a little hard to see what I was doing. Once finished, dad thought he was missing one of the wands that turns the blinds from open to closed; mom found it on the bathroom windowsill. How he missed that it was there, I don't know, but that's a good thing.
Meanwhile, dad finally saw a hummingbird at the feeder. We had another one this past Sunday, and mom got to see it, but dad was in the basement and it had flown away by the time he came upstairs. He was very excited. I'm just glad we're having takers. We weren't sure any would stop by.
