I bring you LOVE! (And pictures.)
I realized something the other day. After getting her meds, Kirby totally reminds me of Mr. Burns from that Simpsons/X-Files crossover from years ago. You know, the one where people think he's an alien. Kirby's eyes get kind of big, and she just looks at me with this odd cock to her head. And she's very jumpy, like I'm giving her birdie ecstasy and it makes her want to do wild and crazy things (like jump on the Bannister of Death, for example). I see the look on her face and all I hear in my head is "I bring you PEACE!" Unfortunately, according to IMDb.com, it's actually "I bring you LOVE!" Regardless, there's a reason Kirby gets put in her cage for about an hour after she's medicated.

Kirby loves looking at "the bird" in the mirror. I don't think she's figured out that it's her. She also enjoys attacking the mirror itself.

This is the travel cage, AKA the little cage. I wouldn't say she loves it in there, but she doesn't seem to mind it much.
Kirby toweled. This was in between actual med givings, so you can bet Kirby was not thrilled to get toweled unnecessarily.
Finally, this is Kirby on drugs. It's hard to capture exactly how she looks, since I have to be behind the camera to take the picture and she gets really up close with my face, but realize Kirby normally *hates* the camera and she's not very afraid here. Also notice her mutton chops from where the meds have dribbled out of her beak.
