We won't even touch tomatoes and avocados
This morning, my mother tried to convince me that strawberries were citrus.
It started because her part of work is having a little holiday party and she is bringing a fruit tray, and she wants to make two different kinds of fruit dip, with one of them having both milk and orange juice concentrate in it. It sounds like an orange creamsicle sort of thing, but I said that milk and citrus combined always makes me think of curdling. That's when she said, but milk and strawberries go together. Yes, but strawberries aren't citrus. She tried to convince me otherwise and I said, strawberries don't have a rind, their seeds are on the outside, and they don't grow on trees. They may be acidic, but they're not citrus. Then she went, oh, maybe they're acidic.
