Ibuprofen makes it better

Sep 22, 2009 09:46

I spent much of yesterday in bed. I didn't really sleep, but sort of watched/listened to TV for a while. I did find out one good thing about the new digital channels, though--I get Hallmark again, meaning I was able to watch Little House on the Prairie. However, despite getting 100 channels, there was nothing better on last night at 7 than The Brady Bunch. Of course, it's their 40th anniversary, so Nick at Nite must celebrate. Around 8:30 I was pretty awake and watched The Big Bang Theory, which is a show my grandfather talks about a lot; it is actually pretty funny, in a geeky way. Plus, like, half of Roseanne has appeared on it in some way, apparently. I did go to bed listening to President Obama on Letterman, and I slept fairly well and thought I woke up okay, but then I couldn't eat breakfast; I only managed half a granola bar and brought the insurance bowl with me, though I did leave it in the car. However, by the time I left class, I felt relatively okay and even a little hungry. I haven't really taken anything since I don't really know what's going on, but mentholated cough drops and ibuprofen have seemed to help. I have some reading to finish for tonight as well as song stuff to work on, so hopefully I can tackle some of that.
