At this point, this shouldn't surprise anyone
So, my parents went on a trip last week, yes.
They were gone Sunday, our typical laundry day.
We have not done laundry since before they left.
(We also have not formally gone grocery shopping, but we're doing okay with that.)
My mother, in the meantime, has run out of underwear.
Tonight, she asked if I could loan her a pair.
ICK ICK ICK!!!
Okay, first off, your fat ass is not going to fit into any of my underpants. You are a size 7. I wear a 6 or a 5.
Second, this is also why I have 6-7 weeks of underwear, including the weird underwear (like thongs) that I'm hardly ever going to wear ever. I may not do laundry every week, but I'm not running out of panties any time soon.
Third, I suggested throwing in a load of laundry. I'm sure, between the three of us, we'd have a full load of anything her heart desired.
(Isn't this what a normal person would do anyway? Somebody back me up here.)
What did my mother do?
She grabbed a pair of my father's underwear and put those on.
Never mind that I found her a perfectly good pair of her own undies, and I believe she found a second pair as well.
