Return of the bathroom

Naturally, I've forgotten a few things as of late. This is the one that has the most importance, in the grand scheme of things. You may recall last year the Great Bathroom Redo of '08, in which my father and I tore apart a great deal of my bathroom to fix some structural problems. The main problem, where the walls of the shower were disintegrating, was fixed and has not had further issue. However, the second issue, wherein the wall had separated from the ceiling and was letting condensation appear in the hallway, has returned. Truth be told, I noticed it right around my birthday, but only last week did my mother notice. And it's actually gotten a bit worse, as it looks like part of the ceiling is peeling away. Not good. I thought my father had fixed it, and by that I mean put that gauzy, tape-y stuff over the hole/separation/whatever, and he claims he did, but I don't actually recall seeing it. Knowing how my father worked, and how he spent part of his time in semi-darkness, after work, tired, what have you, it's possible that he *thought* he did it but it didn't actually happen. So, well, my pretty bathroom isn't so pretty anymore. And now I know, if my father is to do a project, we have to go over EXACTLY what is to be done and have a checklist where both of us check off that something has been done, because I don't trust his word. I also have no idea when or if this will get fixed; mom isn't happy, but she isn't harping on it like she did with the tile situation. That was a far bigger concern, and like I said that part has been fine. Stay tuned.
