Dreaming of food
At least one of you has geekcooks on your f-list. In today's entry, regarding potatoes, the poster mentions she could eat potatoes as her main dish and even dessert.
No lie, I dreamt about potato ice cream last night.
I was on a trip somewhere, like New York, and I was walking down this street. I think I had separated from the group I was with, perhaps. I walked past this store/stand that had all these different ice creams. They had these elaborate names and descriptions (basically one and the same) and I stopped to sample a few. They were pretty far out. I know I tried three, and they were all decent, but the one I decided to go with was the potato ice cream, which was surprisingly good. Part of the name/description included the color red, but I don't recall if it was for another ingredient, like red bean, or what have you. I cannot recall the taste, but I think it was probably sweet, maybe like a sweet potato chip. So strange. I have no idea what brought this on, except in recent months I have seen TV shows about people who make unusual flavors of ice cream and gelato. I was kind of upset when I woke up, too; I think I wanted to see what the other flavors were.
