Where's the laundry room?
I may have mentioned that my dad is on vacation this week. He is looking to redo our laundry room, specifically the floor. He put in a wood floor in our kitchen/foyer/powder room last year, and he wants to do the same with the laundry room. Today he dismantled the room--the dryer, for one, is sitting in our family room! Almost everything came out of there, and the doors came off the closet. The room looks rather large this way, plus it's very echoey.
What sucks: I need to do laundry. :(
At least I only have two more days of work...and then I have a three-day weekend! Woo-hoo!
Work today was okay. My newest coworker was downstairs this morning. I worked with her for an hour talking her through some stuff with the register as well as taking her on a tour of the store. She seemed like she did okay. The rest of my day was spent upstairs scanning the store for returns. Not terribly interesting, but at least I was doing something. Plus, when I got to the bottom two shelves of each section, I had to sit to comfortably reach the books. Oh, darn. :)
