Seen on the streets

The streets of the Tri-Cities have been full of unusual items in the past week.

Today brought two interesting license plates:
KLAATU and BASS MAN (though I couldn't tell if it was bass as in fish or bass as in strings)

Also, one of those vanity license plate holders that you get on vacation...from Antarctica. It was some M-- Station; I couldn't catch the whole of it. Who knew there were tourist shops down there? :P

Finally, last Wednesday on the way to work I was stopped by the sheriff's office and I glanced to the side of the road. There was a goose in a tree. Holy crap, what is a goose doing in a tree? I keep a camera on me to catch moments like that, but I was too stunned to think about it until right before the light changed. I laughed so hard. On the way home, I noticed the tree in question bent a little bit toward the road, creating a sort of platform to stand on. It had looked like the goose was perched between two branches, while in fact he was on the little platform. Ah, the David Blaine of the goose world. But it was still hilarious.
