I mentioned how I'd had a little friend in the corner of my bathroom named Suzy Spider, and after cleaning my bathroom she up and disappeared. Not to fear; there's another spider who's looking to take her place!
Alas for me, this is a bigger spider, not to mention one who has not contained itself to my bathroom. This one is fond of my bedroom. Including my bed. Including under my pillow. He's lucky I tend not to kill spiders, because probably any other person would've committed arachnocide. I managed to get it out of my room, at least, but I think it fell off whatever I was carrying it on into the hallway.
This is a good-sized, black spider, with a thicker trunk and legs. Easy for me to spot even if I'm blurry-eyed. I've also found him on my wall, scurrying around. Spider, if you know what's good for you, you will go into hiding. It has; I haven't seen it since last weekend, and I am grateful, but for a few days there things were tense. I've long had a fear of things crawling in my ears while I sleep; a crawling thing on my pillow is not helpful.
Then, last night, I'd fallen asleep but woke up before my TV had turned off, and I thought I spotted something big and dark on my ceiling, coming toward me. OMG. I was pretty freaked out until I blinked and realized, um, it appears to just be an eye floater. But I've had my awake-dreams before where I've thought stuff was coming off the ceiling, and they're super realistic, so it took me a couple moments to realize nothing really was there. All was well. But I'd really like the spiders and bugs to stay out of my room, please.
