Why did the turtle cross the road?
I'm not sure, but he was coming from Sam's.
Yes, we saw a turtle at Sam's. As dad and I were pulling into the lot, there was a turtle a couple of feet away from the sidewalk, in the roadway. A couple in a van had stopped and were looking at it; either they put the turtle someplace safe, or took it with them, but both the turtle and the couple were gone when I'd finished parking.
Something odd: It had looked to me like the turtle was on a piece of plywood or something. Then again, I was the driver and more concerned about not hitting anything than the turtle.
Also odd: I didn't see many rabbits today during the day. Lately it seems like there's always one or two out in the yard, especially in the afternoon. I joked that they were getting ready for tomorrow. Then, after we'd gotten back from Sam's, I saw three of them all in a row in the yard. Hmm. Well, if you're looking for the Easter Bunny tomorrow and can't find him, come see me. I'll probably be able to help you out.
