I'm three months in to owning my new car, and there are still new things I get to do with it. I mean, I've only driven it in one season.
Number 1 is that, with the time change, I got to change the clock for the first time. I'm just glad that the gear symbol is the universal code for "settings," so I touched that and quickly found what I needed to do. And, actually, there's a DST setting in and of itself, so just hitting that fixed my clock.
Number 2 has to do with driving an hour earlier than normal on a Monday, which ends up being two hours earlier than the rest of the week. I leave for work at 9:15, meaning in most cases the sun is up and at 'em by the time I need to drive. On Mondays, that's 8:15, and yesterday, a week earlier it was 7:15, meaning the sun was still rising and at an angle where it was streaming right through my driver's side window. I don't believe I've done this yet--I turned my visor to block the window. And I realized I likely hadn't done that yet because it was super stiff. It did move, at least, and helped a lot. Man, that sun is bright.
