Work M*A*S*H-up
I'm not up to writing about much these days, but this happened today. BBC declared that his portion of the business was like M*A*S*H--he's constantly in triage mode. (He wouldn't be if he found a way to work efficiently, but that's another story for another day.) He then related how he's Alan Alda's character, and his newer helper is like Jamie Farr's character. I went, uh-oh, does that make me Hot Lips Houlihan? He replied, uh, let me get back to you once I figure out what that means to my character.
Sort of good news: In reading about the characters, Hawkeye and Hot Lips are more antagonistic to each other, until the series finale, and we're not going to go there, heh. (Nothing bad. Just nothing I anticipate happening.) So, yeah, that works.
My boss, once the situation was explained, said he wanted to be Trapper John. YC arrived at work just as this conversation was happening and I tried to talk her into being Radar, except she had no idea what I was talking about. Sigh. Kids these days.
