Harry Potter and the Frankenstein's Monster
It's been a long day--not bad, just long--so it wasn't a surprise when this happened:
I got home to warm soup and the evening news. At 6 PM, dad changed the channel and happened upon a recent remake of Frankenstein, with Daniel Radcliffe as one of the leads. The scene that was occurring at the time had Daniel's character at some sort of party, with some girl he was smitten with, and the next thing we know, it's turning into a love scene.
Me: Oh, no, I don't want to watch Harry Potter do *that*.
Dad: Where's his magic wand?
Me: (trying not to laugh and failing) Dad, you should know better than to ask that during a love scene!
Luckily the scene wasn't too graphic, but yeah. This is what happens to my brain after a long day. My father didn't catch what he'd said until after he said it, but he started laughing too.
