Projects update
I'm trying to get back into doing my own projects, as opposed to just working on stuff from my grandfather, but it's hard. Not so much because I'm still working on my grandfather's stuff; I haven't done much with that lately. It's just that in terms of my personal projects, things keep popping up. I'm working on my year-end roundup for last year. As I'd done for 2014, I'm re-reading all my posts and it's taking forever. I have to remember to start it at the beginning of December next year so I can post it right after New Year's. There's also camp stuff creeping in; I may have inadvertently made myself the camp webmaster. I'd asked for access to updating the page so I could add pictures; I then got asked if I could post this year's dates. I've only done the latter so far, because the pictures I want to add are on the other computer and I haven't been ambitious enough to turn it on. For the record, we're trying camp in July again. The last time we attempted to start camp in July (it's only the 31st), it got canceled entirely, so *knock on wood* I'm a tad bit nervous. Oh, and part of why camp and the website have come up is because Mr. C asked about solo contest...again...and I want to prep for that. It's time to brush up on percussion rudiments and what the solos sound like! Fun. On the plus side, I finally crossed off getting my oil changed today. That's been on my to-do list since about October. What can I say, been a little busy or preoccupied since then. So, yeah, got lots to do and not a lot of time to do it all in. I'm eligible for two weeks of vacation now, albeit unpaid...part of me wants to cash in the one week. I could use it.
