Hey guys.
I thought it was about time I paid you guys a little attention. :) I'm so grateful that none of you have deleted me, because I do come back here and check out your entries all the time, even if I don't comment.
So, I'm trying to figure out what's news with me...
I am now working at Strandbags, which is a handbag/purse/wallet/luggage store in my local shopping centre. I haven't been there long...a month, maybe or just a bit longer...and I am loving it! I love working in retail, and I totally love customer service. OH! I haven't told you guys that I quit uni! Yep, after 4 years...I'd had enough. I wasn't happy with what I was doing, and my heart just wasn't in it anymore. So for the moment, I am working....and then next year, hopefully, I'll go to TAFE and do something in Childcare. :) I know, such a massive change...but I need positivity in my life, and unfortunately the social welfare field is full of negativity...and I feel that at 21, I can't handle it all. So yep, there's my big news! Hehehe. I haven't regretted the decision I made for a second, I've been much more relaxed and stress-free...and all round happier. I had no idea what I was putting myself through at uni. It took such a toll.
David and I are still going strong...the weekend just gone was one year since we started hooking up, unofficially of course. It's gone so quickly. I love it, and him...and wouldn't have my life any other way. :) I am totally looking forward to our future together...it feels like it's just right around the next corner, you know? And we're plodding along on the right path, which is just...excellent. :D
I also got my first tattoo last week...
It is pretty big, considering it was my first. It was SO painful...well, in some parts in particular. It took a total of 3 hours to do...and Rick, the tattooist, said he was impressed at how I handled it. :D Woohoo for me! Hahaha. So now, it's just healing...it's still really tender, but it is starting to get itchy. Ugh. :P Oh well, all part and parcel.
