Mmmmmm we made something delicious tonight!! 
Not really sure what to call it... kind of a Mexican shrimp chili stew?? 
Shrimp+beans+veggies+rice (& more)
Serve with sour cream, cheese, and tortilla chips
This is the first time I've ever had shrimp and liked it :)

My most recent foray into cooking was penne with alfredo sauce today. Lets just say that it wasn't the worst thing I've cooked, but it wasn't anything great either. I guess I'm not the best person to ask though... I never really was a fan of alfredo sauce so I couldn't tell you a good one from a bad one.

Part 1: I was in the middle of writing a long entry about the reasons why my eating habits are as poor as they are (meal frequency, non-nutritious choices, etc) and my attention got called elsewhere. I came back to the entry, re-read it and all it sounded like was hollow excuse-making. Interesting, interesting. I just listened to a little over an hour of this BBC special about French-Arab relations.
