When Laura slips a good idea in your ear, it is better to discuss it with your international partners before going to the press. Otherwise, it looks like you are totally disregarding the opinion of your international partners, and said international partners will then be even more reluctant to give you shoulder rubs at the G8.
So, next time you have a brilliant plan on greenhouse gas reduction, can you promise me to talk it through with me before telling everyone about it?
