[Caesares is in his room. Video is apparently his friend. He's busy, moving religious icons around, and carefully removing crosses from the wall. He actually had all the things his mirrorverse self put up, so he's finally getting to removing them.]
I wonder, sometimes, how many things we leave unfinished in life, and if some of them are entirely better unfinished than not?
[He disappears off camera with a picture of the Virgin in his hands, but keeps talking.]
Perhaps sometimes it takes as much integrity to walk away than to stay. Perhaps.
Depends on the circumstances. Perhaps sometimes you might regret it either way. Perhaps others the choice is so clear there is no need to debate.
[He appears back on, checking his room over,] Anyway. Business to attend to, I suppose. [And he shuts the camera off and switches to voice.]
[Private to Jim]
Meet me this evening. You can choose the specific time and location, but preferably somewhere private. You are welcome in my rooms, if you wish.
[Private to Nygma]
I trust you are healing well, Mr Nygma?
Mr Profit mentioned that there was a warden staying with him. Would I be right to assume it is yourself? Not that I am intending to act upon it, it is merely a matter of being informed.
On another note, I'd much prefer to discuss what happened between the two of you this flood.
[Private to Seven]
I said I would come back to you, and I am doing so.
I am sure you understand the need to get both sides of events, especially with someone like Mr Profit. I'd be quite interested to hear about how you stopped events in the port where he intended to leave two people behind.
[Warden filter]
After discussing with Mr Profit, I would now like, if possible, to provide the opportunity for any one who has either a standing, or past issue, with him, of any nature to inform me.
I have told him I intended to do this, so you are all aware. But if anyone or their inmate has any issues I need to be aware of with Mr Profit, I would like to know now, rather than later.
unfinished business,
this is so 1930s,
cool as a cucumber on ice,
the prince without a kingdom,
the art of taking things in ones stride
