Tagged! Beware of meme...seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself

Sep 08, 2007 04:19

I actually got tagged not once, but twice - realpestilence and firestar28 both tagged me on this meme. *eyes them* Three other friends have also done this meme since then, so I guess that there's a trend. *g* I wasn't able to answer the tag right away due to RL issues, but I promised that I would when I could...so...here goes nothing. *LOL*

More than you probably want to know behind this cut. *g* )

Hee.

I like symmetry too.

For example if we have olives with pizza I *have* to have an even number and now J does to, just to keep me happy.

And the other evening when he was scrubbing the potatoes and asked how many we needed, I insisted he did one extra, because I couldn't allow one poor potato to be left all alone in the bag *blush*

*LOL*...I have totally done that before with the potatoes! I know exactly what you mean. *nodnodnod* I'll also pair bites of my food, if it's not something that I can just mix together. Like a piece of steak and a side dish? As I near the end of my meal, I have to make sure that I have a bite of the side to go with every bite of the steak that's left. I'll cut one or the other into extra pieces if I have to. *eyeroll* So, yeah...I'm a little strange. *giggles*

*hugs you tight*

:-) I'm so glad you know what I mean, well you can't leave one, poor, lone potato in the bag, can you? It'll get lonely *whistles* (Are you sure you want to be my friend *giggles*)

Ah, I don't quite do that. However, I don't mix my food, as such, even when it's on the same plate. I'll have a bite of chicken and then a bit of potato, etc. but I won't put chicken and potato on the same fork to eat at the same time.

Oh, and I *hate* gravy. I like sauces for certain things, but I do not like gravy, especially when you have roast potatoes, as they get soggy.

Oh, I totally want to be your friend - you know how I feel - or, you should! *clings to you*

I hope that you don't hold the mixing and smushing together of my food against me. *LOL* I am in total agreement over the gravy issue, if that counts at all. No gravy - ever. Especially on mashed potatoes. Just no. The only thing I really like on my mashed potatoes is sauerkraut when I fix pork, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Hee! I think I'm weirder than I thought. *LOL*

*hugs you*

Star Trek! \o/

Though I only really like TOS. But yay, Star Trek. :D

Also, those odd numbers seem to be working out for you: your favourite house, your favourite husband (I hope)... ;)

*snuggles*

I'm still half in love with Spock. ;)

As for the odd numbers, the house - yes. The husband? Well, favorite in that he's the only...*LOL*. I'll say this, I'd never, and I really mean never, get married again. Oh well.

*hugs you tight*

I happen to like TOS better than any of the other series. I think the B & B team milked the franchise for all it was worth and wasted a lot of its potential. Shame, because TNG was pretty good, though I never agreed with its premise; and Voyager had a damn good cast. Enterprise...made me weep. Good cast, appealing characters, well-acted...and stupid, stupid time-traveling aliens and Xindi and wtf stuff taking it over, instead of exploring how the Federation was built and having lots of fights and first contact stuff like they could have. *scowls* Don't even bring up DS9!

Married 20 years? Wow.

Technically, since you were tagged twice, you should do 14 facts. *nods*

I'm pretty sure that I actually included several facts or quirks in most of mine...probably at least fourteen altogether. *looks shifty*

I don't take baths, either, for the same reasons. The tubs are so damn small and I'm...not. *coughs* But partly, it's the getting in and out-my rickety knees and back don't like it, and there's usually no grab-bar, either. Showers, whiles less fun, at least get you in and out without requiring *too* much athleticism.

I would LOVE one of those huge old claw-footed tubs...or do you remember the old Calgon commercials, where the lady had what looked like a small pool in a little temple for her bath? I want *that* one! *laughs*

OMG - yes...the old Calgon commercials. *g* That was an awesome tub, setup, whatever you want to call it. But, man...I still really miss my old tub. Still, I hear you on the back and knees. Mine are no longer in the perfect condition they originally came in. :/ Eh. Life.

*hugs*
