The book is called "Learning to Bow." It is written by an American guy who went to Japan as an English teacher for a year, and writing about the schooling system and his experiences. It is really good, and really interesting. You really should check it out. Actually, give me your address and I can send it to you for Christmas! I read how bummed you were that you are spending Christmas in Japan, maybe a pretty package will make it a little better for all of five minutes :)
I hope you do get to see Ellegarden again and I hope they are a little better.
My life? Nothing cool. Actually, 2006 has been, so far, the worst year of my life. Hands down. I can't wait for it to be over. From medical problems that led to work problems, that led to money problems...school problems, family problems...I had two pets and a grandfather die on me this year. Yeah. Come on 2007! You can't come soon enough!!! XD

Im not exactly bummed about spending Christmas in Japan..that's fine with me, but it's the fact that i will be *working* at school on Christmas which sucks.
I'm very sorry to hear about your year. I hope that all the problems are sorted out, or are getting better. I realise that im another internet person, but if you ever want to talk about it [though i assume that you have your friends in real life to help you], then by all means, please email me or something similar.
Yeah! Bring on 2007. For me, i think i've had a good year this year, considering i got my degree and im now in Japan [those were my two goals and highlights] and i did get to meet a wonderful girl, even if it only lasted 7 months. But whether it's a selfish thougt or not, i also can't wait to find out what's in store for me in 2007. I hope that 2007 will be great for you! :)
Yeah, Japan is still working out great on the whole. I was just missing some people in my last post, and i was having some girl troubles (again!), but for now, im through with girls, im very happy on my own in Japan thank-you-very-much (though i may change my tune around about the New Year haha, how flaky i am). But apart from that thing, it's still great. I still think my students are great (the ones i teach which are the first years, whilst the 2nd years are bastards and the 3rd years are very fun but stressed out], and i love the fact that i can go to Osaka whenever i like, even after work since it's only 30 mins away. Last week i went to Nara, only took 1hr 30mins to get there, got surrounded by lots of deers, they covered my coat in saliva and even ate my map from my pocket! ^_^ Yesterday i went to Kyoto again also just aout 1hr 30mins away so i stayed there for only 4 hours. It's great to know that i can easily go to Kyoto and Nara and explore them, just a little bit at a time every week if i wanted! Next week i plan to go to Minoo. The week after that is AnCafe i believe.
Ah, about the video entries, i have made about 15-20 or so [i cant remember!] but the problem is that i havent made an entry for at least 2 months! Arrrggghhh... so much for my video entry plans haha... But, when i get the time to upload them when im at home, i will upload them all for you!
