Ellegarden and Foo Fighters
So, two days ago i saw a live concert involving Foo Fighters and Ellegarden.
It's actually the Foo Fighter's last stop in the world tour [Osaka], but i didn't really care about them, only when someone told me that Ellegarden were opening for them that i definately wanted to go. Ellegarden are my favourite Japanese band, and my 2nd favourite band ever [of course, Lifehouse will always be number one for me].
It was at Osaka Castle Hall, and well, i must say that Foo Fighters were great. Dave Grohl was fucking around with the crowd since most of them didn't understand him anyways. The best part being when he says, "How are you?" You could hear the much drilled in, "I'M FINE THANK YOU! AND YOU?" Ahhhh...brilliant stuff. Anyone who teaches English will especially love/hate that phrase.
Anyhoo. Foo Fighters were great. Ellegarden played a shit set. They played all b-sides except for Salamander, and to be honest, that's not goood enough. I expected Ellegarden to blast out all the a-sides to get the crowd pumped for Foo Fighters..but they didn't. Weirdos.
On another note, i *think* i just bought a ticket online for Antique Cafe (23rd December) which should be great. I think i may be the only boy there. I think i may also be the only non VK looking person there too.
